Saturday and Sunday, October 7th and 8th: 10 am to 4 pm
This event is outdoors with artisan booths located on the White Hart Lawn in Salisbury, CT.
Deadline to Apply: Tuesday, August 15th, 2023
(We will be accepting a limited number of artisans. All applicants will be notified by September 1st regarding the committee’s decisions on participating artisans)
Fees: $130 for BOTH days, $75 for one day (Saturday OR Sunday)
General guidelines:
-Artisans must be present throughout the show, no packing up early
-Artisans will be given 10 foot spaces for booths
-Artisans with tents must have 25 lb weights to attach to legs with strapping or rope above to reach the crossbars above leg or side of their tents in case of wind. If you need them, you can find them via Amazon, Walmart, coversandall.com and more.
-Artisan’s items and packing materials need to be confined to the boundaries of their booths.
-You are responsible for your own liability insurance. -If you are accepted to participate in the event you will be asked to sign an Indemnification Agreement. This releases Salisbury Handmade and the White Hart from lawsuits filed by third parties, from any and all liability to/for all loss, damage, or injury to any individual or property resulting from Vendors participation in the Salisbury Handmade Fall Market.
Covid Guidelines as it now stands:
-Observe safe social distancing between fellow artisans and attendees. The new phase we are entering into that no longer requires masks, is on the honor system so we as a market will continue to require everyone to maintain distance for artisans and customers safety. Artisans are still responsible for making and managing the line at their booth.
– Individual retailers must not allow sampling or application of personal goods (makeup, perfume, lotion) unless they provide single-use applicators or have a no-touch option.
